ABOUT REGENERATION
Regeneration is an impact-driven startup on a mission to transform European agriculture. We support farmers in transitioning to regenerative agriculture by providing agronomic support to implement regenerative practices, and we measure and monetize, on behalf of the farmers, their performance in terms of soil organic carbon sequestration and on-farm emissions reduction.
The resulting carbon credits are sold to companies committed to investing in nature-based solutions to mitigate climate change.
We are a growing team based in Bordeaux, working across France and Belgium, with a deep commitment to scientific excellence, farmer value, and climate impact.
YOUR MISSION
“What gets measured gets managed.” One of the major challenges in scaling regenerative agriculture is robustly measuring its benefits. As our Research Intern, you will be at the heart of this effort.
You will contribute to improving how we measure, report, and verify (MRV) carbon sequestration in soils. Your focus will be on developing and refining our Long-Term Experiment (LTE) database, integrating scientific literature, and integrating soil sampling results. You will also contribute to testing and validating our soil organic carbon model — a key component of our project under the Verra Verified Carbon Standard (VM0042 methodology).
You will work in close collaboration with our Certification & Quality team and contribute directly to one of the most advanced soil MRV approaches under the Verra framework.
